Barstool Gaming League Power Rankings (Championship)

Week 3, the Championship week, is upon us. Today, all scores reset and the battlefield is wide open for any team to take home the crown. We are left with an Electric Eight that are going to be turning Verdansk into a nightmare for opposing teams. In this week's power rankings, there will be no team descriptions. We know the slayers and they know what they need to do to win.

This week in the #BGL, we have much fewer substitutions than Week 2. Starting 9 has added 100T Tommey and Will_rub42 to their squad. McNasty will be their 3rd teammate (Delis in the chat plz). This squad immediately became a threat to win it all.

Again, this week is winner take all and all scores have been reset to 0. Top 3 scores will count with drops from 7pm EST - 9:45pm EST. 1 point per elimination and placement is as follows:

Win - 25 pts

2nd - 20 pts

3rd - 15 pts

4th - 10 pts

Top 7 - 7 pts

Top 10 - 4 pts

Top 15 - 2 pts

Top 20 - 1 pt

My power rankings below are my best guess with where the teams will finish after tonight's games.

MRags' Power Rankings

8) Team Smitty

- Must secure wins to be competitive. Have the firepower, but they need to tighten up when it hits 4th circle.

7) Rats

- I love putting the Rats here because they'll get mad and ultimately place better. 200 IQ

6) Zero Blog Thirty

- Sahvage is back in the lineup for this squad

5) Pardon My Take

- Ripkowski, Toolijian and Joben got off to a scorching hot start last week, but they were halted for about 10 minutes trying to make their profiles public and Toolijian's controller broke. Expecting a big week from these three.

4) Spinnin Backfist

- CMC represent. Do not sleep on Bonzer's Revenge tour

3) Spittin' Chiclets

- Frozone is one of the best players in the world, but he needs some support from Gracious in order for these boys to have a fighting chance tonight. If Gracious can perform the same way he did in Week 1, then watch out.

2) Starting 9

- Added 100T Tommey - do I need to say more? If they can secure three wins, I would have a hard time imagining them out of the Top 2.

1) KFC Radio

- Slayers, slayers, slayers. Ebatez came up short in the College Gaming Championship and is looking to secure his first Barstool tournament win tonight. It definitely doesn't hurt when your supporting teammates are Sasquatch and CallMeSeeb. If these guys play their normal game and secure wins, I am expecting a 230 score tonight.
