Power Rankings

1) Baylor

Moving up the ranks from 2nd in last week's MRankings, Baylor takes home the top dawg spot for your Nasty Nine Rankings. Last week, they were the only team to eclipse 200 points during the Electric 18 and they truly looked dominant. MrDaft was able to led the Bears to 2 wins last week and the kills keep coming for this squad. This squad always averages the same high kill games (rough 40-50 kills), but the wins come and go. If the boys focus on dubs first, they will be tough to beat.

The Bears are either going to be fully energized coming off the College basketball Championship, or they'll be fatigued from all the partying...

2) JMU

By far the most consistent team in this tournament, JMU has never placed lower than 2nd overall throughout this tournament. In the Electric 18, they did get off to a slow start, but were really able to piece together games throughout the tournament and finish with 175 points. Due to their consistency, chemistry and equal player skill, I am expecting BIG things from CJ, True and Jordo. It's wild to think that their "worst week" is when they placed 2nd with 175 points...

3) Notre Dame

During the Fighting Irish's interview in the Electric 18, Realbigtone wanted us to show more respect to ChaaseOG's name. Rightfully so, he is up for consideration for the MVP of this tournament. He has been a top slayer throughout this entire tournament and he is looking to prove why he should be named MVP after tonight's performance. If ND is able to get good production out of Hamburglar (great name) - they'll be in a great spot to win it all tonight.

4) UCF

UFC has been another extremely consistent and improving squad since Week 1. I had the chance to run it with Gulag Daddy, MooreAlex and Dillcard on Monday this week and the boys bring the heat! They have great chemistry and they'll be solo splitting more tonight in hopes to drop some high kill bombs. With a name like Gulag Daddy, you better have a 100% win rate in the Guge....just saying

5) ASU

Throughout this tournament, ASU has always been an above-average squad. Last week appeared to be their breakout week as they finished 3rd overall with 164 points. In the past, we have seen this team have extremely good weeks and very average weeks. If Fishidy is able to help the Sun Devils get multiple wins, they'll be able to put up a very competitive score tonight.

6) Grand Canyon

Everybody knows how much I like Ebatez and GCU, but this team did not show up last week. It's one of the cons of being a top dog with the reigning MVP, you always expect them to perform at the highest level. Thankfully for 2 Ritual clutch wins (one that was a buzzer beater and the other down below) - the Lopes were just able to squeeze into the Nasty nine by 6 points. Ebatez - BRING IT TONIGHT

7) Villanova

Go Wildcats - Nova got off to a few hot start last week and ended up finishing with 152 points in the Electric 18. If this team is able to maintain that hot start, they could be very well be a dangerous team. Need a few more slays and a few more dubs from Matt Monkeys, Corbmc and Pat Banko tonight.

8) Arizona

Arizona felt disrespected last week after they finally got their first interview in the College Gaming Championship. They secured the 8th spot with 149 points. Now that is a ways to go from Baylor's 201, but if the Wildcats get hot, look out. PhoenixDuyck, Aggy and Fortune have good chemistry has a squad.

9) Merrimack

Merrimack is by far your Cinderella story here. But do NOT sleep on this squad, in the Electric 18, CackNBalls (that's a real name), Scottie and the Ganj took home 4th place (tied with ND) with 161 points. If these boys can bring that same momentum into tonight, we could have a bigtime upset alert on our hands.

There was a small Warzone update that got pushed out yesterday "nerfing" the FFAR and the AUG. I do not anticipate it affecting gameplay tonight. I am also expecting teams to accidentally buy 3.5 RC-XDs instead of loadouts.

GLHF to all the teams competing tonight!
