Rough n Raggy is here to settle all of your gaming beef! As we saw from Larry v Guv I and Larry v Guv II - these matchups are meant to be electric and from players around the same skill level that want to settle it all in a game of their choosing.
To start off, I think it is easiest for players to hit Verdansk in a 1v1 (or even 2v2) kill race. Before we get into how to actually set your Rough n Raggy matchup, I want to go over the general ruleset:
- Every player must be a subscriber to Twitch.tv/MRagsTV
- Join the Rag Nation Discord here
- Under the "Gaming" category, search for #ragnation-callout-fridays. This channel is where you will call your opponent out to set your match
- Before writing in this channel, please have an opponent in mind to call out. Memes and trash talk are highly encouraged (See Statts v 1K) - but keep everything above the belt
- When you call out another member of Rag Nation, for them to accept your challenge, they must react to your challenge, reply to the post and accept it, and then lastly tag myself and cool & good in the discord message
- Myself or Cool & Good will reach out to you to confirm your matchup and time/date
- Cool & good is the commissioner of Rough n Raggy and JocPlot is our graphics wizard
- We are aiming to have Rough n Raggy matches bi-weekly or once a month (pending on incoming challenges). All Rough n Raggy matchups will be on Fridays
- Our goal is to have 3-4 matchups per Rough n Raggy Card
- ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME
Now that we have the general rules established, let's talk about the best format for Warzone Rough n Raggy Matchups
Best Format for Warzone
First, it is preferable that both players stream - but in order to play 1v1 in the duos playlist, one person must stream. If neither player streams, then MRags will host the lobby and players will have to solo trio (this would be the only way to spectate the match). Also consider, MRags' lobbies are typically diamond which can be difficult for newer players.
Rules
- For simplicity, the higher the kill total = the winner. There is no placement points.
- No direct sabotaging is allowed. MRags and Commissioner Cool & Good have full discretion to determine what is and what is not considered a sabotage. The most common occassion that is ALLOWED - if player 1 boards player 2's chopper, player 2 is able to throw that chopper into a building/wall. BOARD VEHCILES AT YOUR OWN RISK. However, Player 1 cannot purposely blow up a car that is next to player 2 for no reason other than to sabotage.
- In the event of a jailbreak - any FULLY DEAD player (lost gulag) will NOT be able to return to the action. Once you are fully dead, unless your opponent buys you back, you will not be able to increase your kill total or play that extra life. If there is a 2v2 and one teammate is still alive, then the team is able to take advantage of the jailbreak. If the team is fully dead (lost both gulags), they are unable to benefit from a jailbreak.
Ultimately, when players decide on a matchup, you have two options when it comes to kill races:
Best of 2
Best of 2 style would mean that the aggregate kills between the two games will determine the winner. This would allow players to take a lead if their opponent dies early in Map 1. This is the same style of matchup that professional Warzone players use when they are "wagering." Preferable matchup for higher skilled players with kill race wager experience.
Best of 3
This is the style we saw in Larry v Guv. Each map is independent and kills do NOT carry over. Therefore, the winning player must win 2 maps to be crowned champion. For time efficiency, once a winner is determined, the map will end. Games will not be played out until the end like we will see with the Best of 2 format. Preferable for players with minimum wager experience.

- Due to anonymous players' inputs, Sas is the favorite by 4.5 kills per map
7:30 pm EST - Statts vs 1K (Battle of the Memes) BO3
Upcoming
Next week, the Rough n Raggy team will come up with "weight classes." As of right now, we have one champ - Mr. 2-Time, Larry Legend.
